🍇: Grenache, Syrah, Carignan

👀: In the glass, it's a deep red, almost garnet, like a black cherry. It's like thick velvet, something that immediately announces its character: this is going to be powerful
.
👃: First impression: the garrigue, straight away. Thyme, rosemary, a hint of bay leaf that pretends to be discreet, but isn't. Then it unfolds: ripe black fruits, crushed blackberry, candied cherry… and that almost wild, slightly animalistic quality
.
👄: The attack is supple, almost deceptive; you think, "Okay, easy." Then it builds. The Grenache brings sunshine, roundness, that generous quality that embraces you. The Syrah adds spice, a delicate pepper that tickles the tongue. And the Carignan… ah, it provides a touch of energy, a little tension that keeps everything from falling apart. Velvety texture, but not flabby, tannins present but well-integrated. The finish? It lingers, it persists, with that taste of dark fruit and warm herbs. A bit like the end of a summer day that refuses to fade.

👀: Dans le verre, c’est rouge profond, presque grenat, comme une cerise noire.Là on est sur du velours épais, un truc qui annonce déjà la couleur : ça va parler fort.

👃: Première claque : la garrigue, direct. Thym, romarin, une pointe de laurier qui fait genre “je suis discret” mais pas tant que ça. Puis ça déroule: fruits noirs bien mûrs, mûre écrasée, cerise confite… et ce petit côté presque sauvage, un peu animal.

👄 : L’attaque est souple, presque trompeuse, tu te dis “ok, easy”.
Puis ça monte.Le Grenache apporte le soleil, la rondeur, ce côté généreux qui te prend dans ses bras. La Syrah balance les épices, un poivre fin qui chatouille la langue. Et le Carignan… ah lui, il donne du nerf, une petite tension qui évite que tout parte en sucette.Texture veloutée mais pas molle, tanins présents mais bien élevés. La finale ? Elle traîne, elle s’accroche, avec ce goût de fruits noirs et d’herbes chaudes. Un peu comme une fin de journée d’été qui refuse de s’éteindre.

There are estates that make wine… and others that just throw you straight into the garrigue, without warning. Trapadis is definitely the second option.
Domaine de Trapadis is a corner of the Rhône where they work with the land, not against it. Here, we're in Rasteau, where the sun beats down, where the mistral wind sweeps the vines clean, and where the vines cling on as if their lives depended on it (spoiler alert: they kind of do).
Behind it all, there's an artisanal, committed, almost activist vibe, without being overbearing. Organic farming, respect for life, but above all, a true coherence in the glass. Nothing is faked. It's raw, but never messy. It's alive, but always controlled.
Y’a des domaines qui font du vin… et d’autres qui te balancent direct dans la garrigue, sans prévenir. Trapadis, c’est clairement la deuxième option.
Le Domaine de Trapadis, c’est un coin du Rhône où ça bosse avec la terre, pas contre elle. Ici, on est à Rasteau, là où le soleil tape, où le mistral fait le ménage, et où les vignes s’accrochent comme si leur vie en dépendait spoiler : c’est un peu le cas.
Derrière, t’as une vibe artisanale, engagée, presque militante sans être reloue. Culture bio, respect du vivant, mais surtout une vraie cohérence dans le verre. Rien n’est maquillé. C’est brut, mais jamais brouillon. C’est vivant, mais toujours maîtrisé.
