Il y a des plats qui ne demandent pas qu’on les analyse. Ils demandent qu’on les attaque. Le steak frites, c’est ça. Une assiette chaude. Le bruit du couteau. Le gras qui claque un peu sur les lèvres. Les frites qui brûlent les doigts parce qu’on est trop impatient pour attendre. Et au milieu de tout ça : le vin. Pas un figurant,non, le vin comme troisième personnage du film. Celui qui fait basculer la scène. Steak Frites : le goût du vrai: Je crois qu’on sous-estimé profondément le steak frites. On le traite comme un plat simple alors qu’il est ultra émotionnel. Le steak frites, c’est des néons de brasserie. C’est des banquettes rouges fatiguées. C’est du poivre sur la table,  c'est un ballon de rouge servi un peu trop frais dans un verre Duralex. C’est Paris à minuit, Bruxelles sous la pluie, Lille après un concert.
