A bourbon that arrives in a Hawaiian shirt? Yes. And the worst part is, it suits it well

Jim Beam Pineapple 32.5% ABV

. 

👀: A light amber color, almost golden, with hints of roasted pineapple juice. Not very full-bodied, naturally, at 32.5% ABV, but frankly quite appealing

.

👃: Well, here… no false advertising. The pineapple hits you right away. But not the artificial candy kind that assaults your sinuses. More like flambéed pineapple, pineapple in hot syrup, almost like an upside-down pie that's spent five minutes on a barbecue

Behind it, the classic Jim Beam tries to stay on course: vanilla, light caramel, a touch of toasted oak, a hint of sweetcorn

👄: The initial taste is smooth, incredibly approachable. It goes down easily. The pineapple clearly dominates: ripe fruit, light sweetness, an almost juicy sensation. Then the bourbon gently returns in the background with vanilla, toasted wood, and a hint of very subtle spice. The texture is more rounded than complex. The finish is short but indulgent, with a rather addictive caramel-pineapple aftertaste.

Un bourbon qui débarque en chemise hawaïenne ? Oui. Et le pire, c’est que ça lui va bien.

Jim Beam Pineapple 32,5°

. 

👀: Une robe ambrée claire, presque dorée, avec des reflets de jus d’ananas rôti. Pas très dense, forcément avec ses 32,5 °, mais franchement engageant.

👃: Alors là… zéro mensonge sur la marchandise. L’ananas arrive direct. Mais pas version bonbon chimique qui t’agresse les sinus. Plutôt ananas flambé, ananas au sirop chaud, presque une tarte retournée qui aurait passé cinq minutes sur un barbecue.

Derrière, le Jim Beam classique tente de garder le cap : vanille, caramel léger, un peu de chêne toasté, une pointe de maïs sucré.

👄 : L’attaque est douce, ultra accessible. Ça glisse tout seul. L’ananas domine clairement : fruit mûr, sucre léger, sensation presque juteuse. Puis le bourbon revient doucement derrière avec la vanille, le bois toasté, un soupçon d’épices très timides. La texture est plus ronde que complexe. La finale reste courte mais gourmande, avec un retour caramel-ananas assez addictif.

Accords mets et whisky : tacos porc effiloché/ananas grillé.
