🍇: Caladoc and Merlot

👀: At first glance, a distinct salmon hue—bright and luminous. It is clean, vibrant, and lively.

👃: Immediate first impression on the nose: crushed strawberries. Then come redcurrant, fresh raspberry, and a hint of tangy candy. Underlying this is a more Mediterranean nuance: dried herbs, a subtle floral touch, and a breath of sun-baked *garrigue*. It smells like summer.

👄: The attack is supple and immediately fresh. Fruit flavors arrive quickly—strawberry, fresh cherry, and a subtle hint of stone-fruit pit that adds depth. The Caladoc contributes a generous, slightly wild fruit character, while the Merlot smooths everything out with gentle roundness. The texture is fluid and light.
Lovely tension on the mid-palate.
The finish remains clean and fruity, with a refreshing, slight bitterness.

👀: Premier regard, robe saumonée assez franche, brillante, lumineuse. C’est net, éclatant, vivant.

👃: Premier nez immédiat : la fraise écrasée.Puis arrivent la groseille, la framboise fraîche, un petit côté bonbon acidulé. Derrière ça, une nuance plus méditerranéenne.Herbes sèches, petite touche florale, un souffle presque de garrigue chauffée à blanc.Ça sent l’été.

👄 : L’attaque est souple, fraîche immédiatement.Le fruit débarque vite : fraise, cerise fraîche, un petit noyau discret qui apporte du relief.Le Caladoc apporte ce côté généreux, un peu sauvage dans l’expression du fruit, pendant que le Merlot vient lisser l’ensemble avec une rondeur tranquille.La texture est fluide, légère.
Belle tension au milieu de bouche.
La finale reste propre, fruitée, avec cette légère amertume rafraîchissante.

Here, you can sense a genuine connection with the climate, the land, and that bold, brilliant light found nowhere else. It is not about making wine simply to tick boxes. No. It is about capturing a moment, an identityalmost an accent. What I love about their wines is that immediate sense of sincerity.
Il y a des domaines qui font du vin. Et puis il y a ceux qui mettent un bout de Provence en bouteille… avec un supplément d’âme.Au pied des collines des Les Alpilles, là où les cigales bossent en heures sup et où le vent chaud sent le thym sauvage et la pierre chauffée par le soleil, il y a Domaine Saint Roch.Un de ces endroits qui respirent le Sud sans jamais tomber dans la caricature carte postale.Ici, on sent qu’on travaille avec le climat, avec la terre, avec cette lumière un peu insolente qu’on ne retrouve nulle part ailleurs. Pas dans une logique de faire du vin pour cocher des cases. Non. Plutôt dans l’idée de capturer un instant, une identité, un accent presque.Ce que j’aime dans leurs bouteilles, c’est cette sensation de sincérité immédiate.
