En bouche, on a un vin équilibré, avec une belle complexité. Les tanins sont ronds. Sur des arômes de fruits bien mûrs cassis, myrtilles, prunes, poivre en grain, cèdre, petites touches vanillées. Une bonne longueur en bouche avec une finale légèrement mentholée qui apporte une belle fraîcheur aux papilles.

J'ai beaucoup aimé ce Saint Emilion Grand Cru. Un vin aromatique à souhait. Un excellent rapport qualité prix plaisir. Un vin qui pourra se bonifier en cave quelques années encore sans aucun problème.

🇫🇷🗣️Description du Domaine 🇫🇷🗣️
Le vignoble de La Rose Perrière est situé dans le village de Lussac, à 15 minutes environ en voiture de Saint-Emilion et à une heure au Nord-Est de Bordeaux. Il trouve son origine au XIIème siècle lorsque la Comtesse de Castillon fit construire l’Abbaye Cistercienne de Faize.
A cette époque, les moines établis dans le couvent étaient missionnés pour apporter une aide technique et agricole aux paysans de la région et pour accueillir les pèlerins se rendant à Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle. Ils défrichaient la forêt autour de la propriété et y plantèrent les premiers pieds de vigne sur le coteau calcaire. Son histoire fait du Château La Rose Perrière le plus ancien vignoble de l’appellation Lussac-Saint-Emilion. Il doit son nom au courant d’eau "La Perrière" issu du mot «Pierrière » qui signifie carrière de pierres.
En 2003, Jean-Luc Sylvain, tonnelier de renom de la rive droite bordelaise, tombe sous le charme de cette propriété atypique en raison de la richesse de son histoire mais aussi de son terroir argilo-calcaire exceptionnel. Dès lors, il entreprend de grands travaux de rénovation du chai, des bâtiments de stockage et du vignoble d’une superficie totale de 14 hectares.

On the palate, we have a balanced wine, with a beautiful complexity. The tannins are round. With aromas of ripe fruit, blackcurrant, blueberries, plums, peppercorns, cedar, small touches of vanilla. Good length in the mouth with a slightly minty finish which brings a nice freshness to the taste buds.

I really liked this Saint Emilion Grand Cru. An aromatic wine as desired. Excellent value for money. A wine that can improve in the cellar for a few more years without any problem.

The La Rose Perrière vineyard is located in the village of Lussac, about 15 minutes by car from Saint-Emilion and an hour northeast of Bordeaux. It has its origins in the 12th century when the Countess of Castillon had the Cistercian Abbey of Faize built.
At that time, the monks established in the convent were missioned to provide technical and agricultural assistance to the farmers of the region and to welcome pilgrims going to Santiago de Compostela. They cleared the forest around the property and planted the first vines on the limestone hillside. Its history makes Château La Rose Perrière the oldest vineyard in the Lussac-Saint-Emilion appellation. It owes its name to the water stream "La Perrière" from the word "Pierrière" which means stone quarry.
In 2003, Jean-Luc Sylvain, a renowned cooper from the right bank of Bordeaux, fell under the spell of this atypical property because of the richness of its history but also its exceptional clay-limestone terroir. From then on, he undertook major renovation work on the winery, storage buildings and the vineyard with a total area of 14 hectares.

Al palato abbiamo un vino equilibrato, con una bella complessità. I tannini sono rotondi. Con aromi di frutta matura, ribes nero, mirtilli, prugne, pepe in grani, cedro, piccoli tocchi di vaniglia. Buona persistenza in bocca con un finale leggermente mentolato che apporta una bella freschezza alle papille gustative.

Mi è piaciuto molto questo Saint Emilion Grand Cru. Un vino aromatico a piacere. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Un vino che può migliorare in cantina ancora qualche anno senza alcun problema.

Il vigneto La Rose Perrière si trova nel villaggio di Lussac, a circa 15 minuti in auto da Saint-Emilion e un'ora a nord-est di Bordeaux. Le sue origini risalgono al XII secolo, quando la contessa di Castillon fece costruire l'abbazia cistercense di Faize.
A quel tempo, i monaci stabiliti nel convento avevano la missione di fornire assistenza tecnica e agricola ai contadini della regione e di accogliere i pellegrini diretti a Santiago de Compostela. Hanno disboscato il bosco intorno alla proprietà e piantato le prime viti sul fianco calcareo della collina. La sua storia fa dello Château La Rose Perrière il vigneto più antico della denominazione Lussac-Saint-Emilion. Deve il suo nome al ruscello "La Perrière" dalla parola "Pierrière" che significa cava di pietra.
Nel 2003, Jean-Luc Sylvain, rinomato bottaio della riva destra di Bordeaux, si lascia affascinare da questa proprietà atipica per la ricchezza della sua storia ma anche per il suo eccezionale terroir argilloso-calcareo. Da allora in poi intraprende importanti lavori di ristrutturazione della cantina, dei magazzini e del vigneto per una superficie totale di 14 ettari.
