En bouche, on a un vin avec des tanins souples et avec une belle rondeur. Sur des arômes de pruneaux, mûres, myrtilles, les épices (poivre en grain, clou de girofle). Une bonne longueur en bouche avec une finale légèrement fraîche qui vient contre balancer avec la rondeur en bouche.

J'ai beaucoup aimé cette cuvée très aromatique en bouche. Un beau Bordeaux très élégant qui allie fruité et douceur en bouche. Je recommande.

Le Château Morillon est situé sur la petite commune de Campugnan, au nord du Blayais et à 50 kilomètres de Bordeaux. C’est une immense propriété viticole de plus de 35 hectares de terres nichés dans des paysages verdoyants composés de prairies et de forêts.Le domaine cultive 20 hectares de vignoble certifié bio depuis 2007 (conversion en 2004). Les cépages cultivés sont le merlot, le cabernet-sauvignon, le cabernet franc et depuis quelques années est replanté du malbec et du marselan, cépages qui apprécient le terroir local.
Jean-Marie Mado est un fervent défenseur d’une agriculture durable sans pesticides ni engrais de synthèse. Il est un pionnier dans la défense d’une agriculture biologique certifiée.Dans les années 1980, il s’est notamment investi dans la filière bio française en tant que président de
l’interprofession bio, alors à ses prémices en France. Dans les années 1990, Jean-Marie était aussi entrepreneur gérant d’une enseigne bio qu’il a ensuite vendue à La Vie Claire, un des leaders français dans la vente de produits issue d’une agriculture biologique.
En 2004, Chantal et Jean-Marie Mado reprennent le Château Morillon. La propriété viticole se compose alors de 14 hectares de vignes autour d’une demeure sobre et élégante du XVIIIème siècle, d’un chai de cuves béton et de dépendances à restaurer. Ils convertissent immédiatement le vignoble à l’agriculture biologique qui est alors aussi un domaine pionnier dans le Blayais.

Château Morillon is located in the small town of Campugnan, north of Blayais and 50 kilometers from Bordeaux. It is a huge wine property of more than 35 hectares of land nestled in green landscapes made up of meadows and forests. The estate has been cultivating 20 hectares of certified organic vineyards since 2007 (conversion in 2004). The grape varieties grown are Merlot, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and in recent years Malbec and Marselan have been replanted, grape varieties that appreciate the local terroir.
Jean-Marie Mado is a fervent defender of sustainable agriculture without pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. He is a pioneer in the defense of certified organic agriculture. In the 1980s, he was particularly involved in the French organic sector as president of
the organic interprofession, then in its infancy in France. In the 1990s, Jean-Marie was also an entrepreneur managing an organic brand which he then sold to La Vie Claire, one of the French leaders in the sale of products from organic farming.
In 2004, Chantal and Jean-Marie Mado took over Château Morillon. The wine property then consists of 14 hectares of vines around a sober and elegant 18th century residence, a cellar of concrete vats and outbuildings to be restored. They immediately converted the vineyard to organic farming, which was then also a pioneering estate in the Blayais.

Al palato abbiamo un vino con tannini morbidi e una bella rotondità. Su aromi di prugne secche, more, mirtilli, spezie (pepe in grani, chiodi di garofano). Buona la persistenza in bocca con un finale leggermente fresco che si bilancia con la rotondità della bocca.

Château Morillon si trova nella cittadina di Campugnan, a nord di Blayais ea 50 chilometri da Bordeaux. Si tratta di una vasta proprietà vinicola di oltre 35 ettari di terreno immersa nel verde di paesaggi costituiti da prati e boschi.L'azienda coltiva dal 2007 20 ettari di vigneto biologico certificato (conversione nel 2004). I vitigni coltivati sono Merlot, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc e negli ultimi anni sono stati reimpiantati Malbec e Marselan, vitigni che apprezzano il terroir locale.
Jean-Marie Mado è un fervente difensore dell'agricoltura sostenibile senza pesticidi o fertilizzanti sintetici. Pioniere nella difesa dell'agricoltura biologica certificata, negli anni '80 è stato particolarmente coinvolto nel settore biologico francese come presidente di
l'interprofessione organica, allora agli albori in Francia. Negli anni '90, Jean-Marie è stato anche imprenditore gestendo un marchio biologico che ha poi venduto a La Vie Claire, uno dei leader francesi nella vendita di prodotti da agricoltura biologica.
Nel 2004 Chantal e Jean-Marie Mado hanno rilevato Château Morillon. La proprietà vinicola si compone poi di 14 ettari di vigneto intorno ad una sobria ed elegante residenza del 1700, una cantina di tini in cemento e annessi da ristrutturare. Immediatamente convertirono il vigneto all'agricoltura biologica, che allora era anche una tenuta pionieristica nel Blayais.
