Vintage: 2023

🍇: 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 10% Carignan

. 

👀: Deep ruby ​​red, almost velvety, with garnet highlights. The wine is dense but not opaque; it remains vibrant and luminous

.

👃: First nose: black cherry bursts onto the scene, juicy, almost jammy. Then come the other aromas: wild blackberry, a touch of warm garrigue (sun-dried thyme and rosemary), and a subtle peppery note from the Syrah

. 

 👄: The attack is supple and generous. The Grenache takes center stage,

with red fruit filling the mouth, round and sunny. The Syrah brings a touch of spice and structure that prevents the wine from becoming syrupy. And the Carignan… discreet but clever… adds freshness and a touch of tannin that awakens everything. Velvety texture, fluid, easy-drinking, the kind of wine that's dangerously easy to drink. The finish is fruity, slightly spicy, with a hint of garrigue that makes you want to come back for more.

Millésime : 2023 

. 

🍇 : 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 10% Carignan

. 

👀: Rouge rubis profond, presque velours, avec des reflets grenat. La matière est dense mais pas opaque, ça reste vivant, lumineux.

.

👃: Premier nez : la cerise noire débarque en tête, juteuse, presque confiture. Puis arrivent les copains :

la mûre sauvage, une touche de garrigue chaude (thym, romarin séchés par le soleil), un petit clin d’œil poivré de la Syrah. 

. 

👄 : L’attaque est souple et généreuse. Le Grenache fait le show, 

du fruit rouge plein la bouche, rond, solaire. La Syrah apporte ce petit côté épicé et structuré qui évite au vin de partir en mode sirop. Et le Carignan… discret mais malin… donne une fraîcheur et un petit grain tannique qui réveille tout ça. Texture veloutée, fluide, facile, le genre de vin qui se boit dangereusement bien. La finale est fruitée, légèrement épicée, avec ce petit retour de garrigue qui donne envie d’y revenir.

Dans le grand sud, là où la lumière cogne sur les cailloux et où la garrigue sent le thym chauffé au soleil, il y a l’univers de Jeff Carrel.

Pas un château guindé. Pas un domaine qui te parle en latin et en barriques hors de prix. Non. Jeff Carrel, c’est un peu le gars du Languedoc qui aime les vins qui parlent vrai. Des cuvées franches, généreuses, souvent pleines de fruit, qui sentent la terre chaude et les repas qui s’éternisent. Installé dans le sud, au cœur du Languedoc, il travaille avec différents terroirs et vignerons pour créer des vins qui ont un point commun : du caractère et du plaisir.
