🇬🇧Liquid sunshine and almond cream: Châteauneuf-du-Pape in a slow jam style

🍇: Roussanne, Clairette, Grenache Blanc, Bourboulenc

👀: In the glass, it shines like a gold medal in the sun. Golden yellow, straw-colored highlights, dense, almost oily.

👃: First nose: roasted pear, lavender honey, and that touch of dried flower that evokes linen sheets in a southern home. Then it opens up to fresh almond, beeswax, a hint of linden blossom. A fragrance that is both rich and calm, like a slow dance at the end of the evening.

👄: Ample attack, almost creamy. It coats the palate, it unfolds, it doesn't seek lightness but voluptuousness. Candied white fruits, a zest of citrus to prevent it from becoming syrupy, and that delicate salinity that puts everything in its place. It's long, warm, caressing. A velvety texture, with that slight grain at the end that reminds you that, yes, we're in Châteauneuf, not Chablis.

🍇 : Roussanne, Clairette, Grenache blanc, Bourboulenc

👀: Dans le verre, ça brille comme une médaille d’or au soleil. Jaune doré, reflets paille, dense, presque huileux.

👃: Premier nez : poire rôtie, miel de lavande, et cette touche de fleur séchée qui évoque les draps en lin dans une maison du Sud. Puis ça s’ouvre sur l’amande fraîche, la cire, un soupçon de tilleul. Un parfum à la fois riche et calme, comme un slow de fin de soirée.

👄 : Attaque ample, presque crémeuse. Ça tapisse, ça déroule, ça ne cherche pas la légèreté mais la volupté. Fruits blancs confits, un zeste d’agrumes pour ne pas sombrer dans le sirop, et cette salinité fine qui remet tout à sa place. C’est long, chaud, caressant. Une texture de velours, avec ce petit grain en fin de bouche qui rappelle que, oui, on est à Châteauneuf, pas à Chablis.
